Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Work Interface, a sole proprietorship registered in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, India ("FlexOff," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the FlexOff mobile app and flexoff.app (together, the "Service"). It should be read together with our Terms and Conditions.

1Information We Collect

Account & profile information

• Email address, and authentication identifiers from Google Sign-In if you use it;
• Username, display name, avatar, and bio you choose to add;
• Focus areas and other preferences you select (e.g. Fitness, Mindfulness, Productivity).

Challenge & activity data

• Challenges you create, join, or complete, including stakes, duration, and outcome;
• Proof photos you submit, notes attached to them, and reactions/comments on proof;
• F Coin balances and transaction history (earned, staked, won, redeemed);
• Badges, streaks, win/loss stats, and leaderboard standing.

Device & technical information

• Push notification token, so we can deliver challenge reminders to your device;
• Time zone, used to schedule reminders around your own local day, not the server's;
• General device/app diagnostic information used to keep the Service running reliably.

Social information

• Your friends list and referral relationships (who referred you, or whom you referred).

2How We Use Information

• To operate core features: creating and settling challenges, tracking streaks, awarding and deducting F Coins, and running the Rewards Store;
• To send you push notifications you've opted into, including challenge check-in reminders;
• To review reported content and enforce our Terms;
• To maintain the security and integrity of the Service, including detecting fraud, multiple-account abuse, or manipulation of proof review;
• To improve the Service and understand how features are used.

3How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these circumstances:

• Other users — see the "Visibility to Other Users" section below;
• Service providers — infrastructure providers that host our database, authentication, file storage, and push-notification delivery on our behalf, bound by confidentiality and data-processing obligations;
• Legal reasons — if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of FlexOff, our users, or the public;
• Business transfers — if FlexOff is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

4Visibility to Other Users

FlexOff is a social, accountability-based product — some information is inherently visible to other users by design:

• Your username, display name, avatar, and bio are visible on your public profile;
• Proof photos you submit are visible to participants of that specific challenge (and, if you choose to share to a wider feed, to your friends);
• Your wins, losses, day streak, and badges may appear on leaderboards and your profile;
• Friends can see your recent activity as shown in the app (e.g. "Recently Flexed").

We do not make your private account data (email, push token, wallet transaction history) visible to other users.

5Push Notifications

If you grant notification permission, we use your device's push token and time zone solely to deliver challenge-related reminders — including a recurring check-in reminder and a once-daily nudge before your local day ends — and stop reminding you once you've checked in for that day. You can revoke this permission at any time in your device settings, which stops all push delivery to that device.

6Third-Party Services

We rely on the following categories of third-party services to operate FlexOff:

• Authentication & database hosting — for account login, storing your profile and challenge data, and file storage for proof photos;
• Google Sign-In — if you choose to sign in with Google, Google shares basic profile information (name, email, profile photo) with us per your Google account settings;
• Push notification delivery — used only to route reminder notifications to your device.

Each of these providers processes data under its own privacy terms in addition to this Policy.

7Security

We use industry-standard measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level database security — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8Data Retention

We retain your account and activity data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain records for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes, or where data has already been shared with other users as part of a challenge (e.g. a proof photo visible to a rival who already viewed it).

9Your Rights & Choices

• Access & correction — you can view and edit your profile information directly in the app;
• Deletion — you can request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us at support@flexoff.app;
• Notifications — disable push notifications any time via device settings or in-app preferences;
• Focus areas & preferences — editable any time from your profile.

Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable law (such as the right to data portability or to object to certain processing). Contact us to exercise these rights.

10Children's Privacy

FlexOff is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact us at support@flexoff.app and we will take steps to delete it.

11International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, including India, where our infrastructure providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

12Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in-app or by other reasonable means before the changes take effect.
